Lock Area Action Plan- Preserving, expanding, and restoring waterside parkland and making the historic Lock and Dam a regional connection area for walkers, bikers and boaters. This plan envisions the Lock and Dam as a diverse, open-air destination node for all.
Hatch Shell Area Action Plan- For the popular and historic Hatch Music Shell, this plan presents lawn, lighting, and audio systems as well as safe access to and from Storrow Drive and recommendations for a new year-round café.
Esplanade 2020, A Vision for the Future- Encompassing the area from the Boston University Bridge to the Museum of Science, this study focuses on creating a world class park, addressing park landscape, activity settings, access and circulation systems, and unique identity and sense-of-place aspects.
Wining and Dining in the Park- This study is a practical inventory of existing places to eat in the park (only one currently exists) and an assessment of the facility types that can be best matched with individual venues. Facility types range from a white linen restaurant to cafes, food trucks, and vending areas.
Friendliness Analysis- This is an existing conditions matrix summarizing the presence (or not) of desired park components and their quality in each of 24 park sub-sectors spaced along the river from Watertown Dam to Boston Harbor.
